IFCPF World Championships: Italy Remain Unbeaten as Semi-Finals Set Up Final Between CP Soccer US and Italy

The Semi-Finals of the 2026 IFCPF World Championships were played today in Loughborough, setting up Sunday's Final and 3rd/4th Place Playoff.

Results:

  • Italy 9-0 Loughborough
  • CP Soccer US 7-0 Kazakhstan

Italy remain unbeaten at this year's tournament, with a 9-0 result against hosts Loughborough. Gianluca Li Vecchi scored twice and was named Player of the Match.

CP Soccer US have reached the Final, with a 7-0 result against Kazakhstan. Landon Brown was named Player of the Match.

CP Soccer US and Italy will meet in Sunday's Final to decide the title, while Kazakhstan face Loughborough in the 3rd/4th Place Playoff.

CP Football is a 7-a-side game for athletes with cerebral palsy or an acquired brain injury, played at club, national and international level. The 2026 IFCPF World Championships is organised by the International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF), the sport's international governing body. IFCPF is a member of the Para Football Steering Board.
