In the Final, Italy were crowned champions with a 3-1 win over CP Soccer US, capping off a tournament in which they remained unbeaten throughout. Davide Brocca, captain of the Italian side, was named Player of the Match.

Sam Turner, IFCPF Football Director, Para Football founder and Loughborough Para Football founder, reflected on the tournament:

"This event is the culmination of development over many years and connection between so many amazing teams and people. International events like this create an invaluable environment of people coming together to use football as a powerful tool for good. Keep making the difference and keep working to make Para Football bigger, stronger and part of even more people’s lives."

Para Football congratulates Italy on winning this year's World Championships, and every athlete, coach, volunteer and organiser who made this tournament possible.

The IFCPF Women's World Cup takes place in Atlanta from October 17 to 24, alongside the Men's World Cup running October 14 to 25 – together the largest event in IFCPF history, bringing together 20 nations across both tournaments.
