Para Football Foundation continues to promote and amplify initiatives that demonstrate the transformative power of inclusive sport across the world. On 20 March, this commitment was reflected through the participation of our volunteer, Osvaldo Jorge Hernández, at the III National Congress on Adapted Physical Activity – SOCHIAFA – UVM, hosted at Universidad Viña del Mar.

Over the weekend of 14–15 March, the Mount St. Joseph Fieldhouse in Cincinnati came alive with smiles, connection, friendship and football as the CP Soccer Midwest Showcase took place. We spoke with CP Soccer Cincinnati organisers, Brenna Lonneman and Christy Heinrich, about the event and how this initiative supports players with cerebral palsy.

Pan-Disability football is one of the most inclusive formats of the game, bringing together players with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities in the same environment. Instead of separating participants by impairment, it focuses on adapting the game so everyone can take part, build confidence, and feel part of a shared community. More than just sport, it creates belonging, breaks isolation, and can open pathways to further opportunities in football.

In the final week of February 2026, deaf futsal entered a new era in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as the first-ever World Deaf Futsal Club Championships took place at the Stadium Miguel B. Sánchez.

On February 28th, 2026, Para Football joined the Malta Football Association Disability Sports Network Convention online. The event brought together sports organisations, clubs, and experts from around the world to talk about how football and sport can become more accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities. As a global organisation dedicated to football for persons with disabilities, Para Football was invited to present and share its experience at this important event, held at the Centenary Hall at Ta' Qali, Malta.

In a powerful step towards making football truly accessible to all, last weekend the Fulham FC Foundation launched a dedicated football session for children, young people and adults with dwarfism - delivered in partnership with the Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSAUK). We spoke with Katy Shephard, Senior DisAbility Development Manager at Fulham Football Club, about this important initiative which could serve as a great model and example for others.
