Amman, Jordan – 24 October 2025. The opening day of the tournament at the Sports Palace Hall saw impressive performances from both Iraq national team and Jordan national team.
In the first match, Iraq swept aside Lebanon 10-1, demonstrating considerable attacking firepower. Lebanon managed to score once but were unable to contain Iraq’s onslaught.
Later in the evening, hosts Jordan took on Syria and emerged victorious 6-3, combining home-support energy with sharp finishing to claim three points.
Both Iraq and Jordan now sit on three points after Day 1, with Iraq leading on goal difference. Syria and Lebanon have yet to open their accounts and will look to bounce back.
These match-ups will be crucial in determining which side builds the momentum in the group.
